Bollywood’s Major Sequel Hits a Big Confusion

Ranveer Singh’s name has been linked with Don 3 for quite some time now, and this has been one of the biggest sequel project in Bollywood. But of late, there have been changes in the way the project is shaping up.

As per the latest reports in film circles, a dispute has erupted between Ranveer Singh and Excel Entertainment following the actor’s exit from the project. In the aftermath of what happened, there are multiple stories in circulation in the media, and one of them is Hrithik’s name popping up for the lead.

While the production house claims that they encountered losses close to 40 Cr rupees due to the exit of Ranveer Singh, the actor reportedly claims that the banner acted unprofessionally, causing the delays.

During this discussion, it is also alleged that Hrithik’s name came up as a replacement for Ranveer. However, Hrithik Roshan issued a clarification over the same, saying that the rumors about him being under consideration for Don 3 are untrue.

“What started off as just a rumour has now taken a life of its own, and it’s important to set the record straight. I would like to categorically clarify that I was never approached for ‘Don 3’ at any given time..” Hrithik reportedly told a leading publishing agency, clarifying his stance and involvement.

Don 3 was supposed to hit the floors by now as it was originally announced in 2023 August. Till yesterday, there were reports that Hrithik is confirmed to do the project but with the clarification from Hrithik, the project is back to square one, surrounded by dilemma and uncertainty.

As of now, there is a blame game happening between both the parties and an official confirmation on latest developments are awaited.
