Bloody Valentine Glimpse: Lokesh’s Raw Love & Action

Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj is making his acting debut soon, and the film is titled DC. The makers released a special glimpse from the movie, titled DC. The film is going to hit the screens in the summer. The glimpse reveals the performing side of Lokesh, where he becomes an angry young man, something no one would ever have imagined.

Based on the special glimpse released today, it looks like the film is a retelling of the old-age romance tale of Davadas, presented in a different way, with some violent twists.

The glimpse has no dialogues but it introduces Wamiqa Gabbi and Sanjana Krishnamurthy as the female leads. Soon after the trio is introduced, the teaser’s tone immediately shifts to raw and intense action.

The bloodshed and violence assure a proper justification for the ‘bloody valentine’ glimpse released today. The best part of the teaser is that it immediately piques interest in the movie, as it is written and directed by Arun Matheswaran, who earlier made films like Rocky, Saani Kaayidham, and Captain Miller.

We have seen Lokesh Kanagaraj as a filmmaker who stylised violence and action dramas. But, here he comes as an actor and he has a lot of potential to make it big.

In the era of directors like Pradeep Ranganathan and Abhishan Jeevanth making it big as big box office pullers, Lokesh definitely has an edge. If DC becomes a success, he can undoubtedly become a star actor. However, the director in him is loved by a majority of the audiences and he has to find a balance.

DC is an upcoming romantic action-drama film, which will be written and directed by filmmaker Arun Matheswaran. He has already made films like Rocky, Saani Kaayidham, and Captain Miller before. Anirudh’s score elevates the mood and emotion perfectly.

The offiicial release date of the movie is yet to be confirmed.
