The Indian National Cine Academy has announced the first edition of the Kalyan Jewellers INCA Awards, which will be held in Mumbai on April 15 and 16, 2026. This event aims to bring together 12 Indian film industries under one national platform for the first time.
INCA is designed as a unified academy that celebrates excellence in Indian cinema across languages and regions. Instead of separate recognition for each industry, this platform will honour them together, reflecting the true scale and diversity of Indian storytelling.
The academy is promoted by Vishnu Vardhan Induri, who is also behind the Celebrity Cricket League and SIIMA. The Producers Guild of India is the Chief Patron, adding strong industry backing. Kalyan Jewellers has joined as the Presenting Sponsor of the first edition.
Awards will be given for Best Film, Best Actor, and Best Actress in 12 languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Assamese, and Gujarati. There will also be All India awards for direction, music, technical categories, performances, and debut talents.
Producers and directors whose films were released between January 1 and December 31, 2025, can submit their entries online before March 1.
With INCA, Indian cinema is taking a big step toward celebrating talent together, as one united film community.
