After witnessing a sharp dip following its opening weekend, many felt that Couple Friendly would struggle to recover despite enjoying positive word of mouth. The romantic drama received encouraging reviews, but the collections did not quite reflect the appreciation it garnered. However, the second weekend now appears to be a decisive phase for the film.
Interestingly, Couple Friendly has started showing positive signs again. The film has returned to the trending list on Book My Show, though the booking pace remains modest.
A major boost came from Prabhas’ recent interview, which generated fresh buzz across social media platforms. It could have been much better if the team had released it earlier, but that didn’t happen.
With the latest releases receiving mixed responses, the timing could work in its favor. The big question now is whether the film can convert this renewed attention into solid footfalls.
On the other hand, the new release Hey Balwanth has opened on a decent note, registering good occupancy in A-centers despite mixed reviews.
The competition is real, and while the opportunity exists, Couple Friendly must capitalize on this weekend to stabilize its run. How much it manages to collect in the coming days remains to be seen.
