Vishwak Sen Seriously On A Wrong Track!

Vishwak Sen’s CULT had its teaser release at Prasads Multiplex earlier today. A huge number of fans were congregated for the event in Prasads’ PCX Screen and the atmosphere was expectedly overwhelming for the actor.

During the Q&A session, someone mentioned about Vishwak Sen’s recent string of failures and the actor responded strangely.

“ఎవడు ఏమనుకున్నా Funky నాకు HIT ఏ…I made a GREAT FILM. అది ఎంత దూరం పోతుందో మనం అందరం చూద్దాం,” Vishwak Sen said.

Its been a week since the release of Funky. The movie got shocking opening on its first day despite big names like Anudeep and Sithara Banner. The opening was less than half of what his Gangs of Godavari made two years ago in the same banner.

The movie was on a downhill and failed to sustain even in the first weekend. By Sunday, a small film, Couple Friendly was doing better than Funky and from Monday, it sank without a trace.

If a movie from Vishwak Sen, Anudeep, and Sithara could not open well, it means rejection from the audience and some important message to the actor. But if the actor is in denial even a week after the movie release, there is something seriously wrong.

Probably, Vishwak Sen is hoping that it would get great reception after the OTT release in Memes and Reels. If that is the plan, he is seriously on a wrong track.

A movie success is not gauged by Reels or Memes or its OTT reception. Only the theatrical run matters. Only the audience will speak.

Forget about the rest, there are fundamental errors in Funky. It is not like the audience have missed a gem due to external factors.

If Vishwak Sen’s assessment is something like that, he is seriously on a wrong track. If a hero could not assess a film after a week of its release, something is seriously wrong. In that case, he can not make course corrections too.
