Gulte.com is starting a new Video Feature called ‘Overseas Business’ which will speak about the Business of various films in the Overseas Markets. Hosted by Journalist Nishant, the first episode is about the Overseas business of the upcoming biggies.
Toxic:
Phars Films has the rights of Vijay’s Jana Nayagan which was struck in cans due to Censor Issues. The money of the buyers was struck with Phars and they have given Toxic for them as Goodwill Gesture. They will not pay any money to Phars but will get 10% commission on Toxic. After settling Toxic business, they will check the books and decide Jana Nayagan biz during that film’s release. They are claiming that the business is 105 Crore.
Peddi:
Only North America Business of Peddi is confirmed so far. It is sealed for 30 Crore MG which also includes a 5 Crore Refundable amount. The Remaining areas will be closed very soon.
NTR-Neel (Dragon):
The Prashant Neel’s directorial has been picked for 55 Crore Advance. This is only for North America and UK. The remaining areas are yet to close.
Kalki 2:
Phars Films bagged the entire Overseas Rights of the film for a whopping 117 Crore. This is really huge because the deal has happened even before the shooting started.
Spirit:
Pranay Reddy Vanga, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is reportedly keeping the entire Overseas to themselves.
Varanasi:
All the big players are competing to bag the Overseas Rights of the film and it will be record number whenever it is done. Phars is reportedly ready to offer any amount as advance but the makers are looking for a fancy MG/Advance deal.
The Overseas Business of other biggies like Allu Arjun – Atlee film, Jailer 2, etc are yet to finalize.
