Dhurandhar 2: All-Time Record On The Cards?

The buzz around Dhurandhar 2 has reached a new level as the film created a historic record in advance ticket sales. Within just few hours of bookings opening, the film reportedly sold tickets worth nearly ₹5 crore, showcasing the massive excitement among moviegoers.

Trade circles are now predicting that Dhurandhar 2 could become the first film to sell 1 lakh tickets within 24 hours organically, which is a rare achievement. What makes this feat even more impressive is that the film has had very limited promotions so far.

Interestingly, there was very little clarity about the film until just 10 days before release. Despite that, the makers stuck to the originally announced release date and maintained a short gap between the first installment and the sequel. The recently released trailer further boosted the hype, creating huge curiosity among fans.

Because of this strong momentum, many are now saying that Dhurandhar 2 is clearly in a different league when it comes to pre-release buzz.

The big question now is whether the film can deliver an all-time record opening in Indian cinema. While achieving such a milestone will not be easy, the current trend suggests that it is certainly not impossible.
