No Premieres For Ustaad: A Wise Decision?

Dhurandhar 2 Advance Bookings for the Paid Premieres on March 18th have begun and the initial response has been sensational. Interestingly, Hyderabad leads among the cities in Highest Sales so far.

Initially, Ustaad Bhagath Singh Special Premieres were planned for 10 PM on March 18th. But then, Dhurandhar 2 Premieres were planned for 5 PM on the same day.

Dhurandhar 2 is a Four Hour Film and logistically it is difficult to schedule Ustaad immediately. Also, audiences may find it difficult to watch another film immediately after watching a four-hour film. 

Moreover, it will be difficult to have a widespread Premieres as theaters especially the Multiplexes are prioritising Dhurandhar 2 too.

Also there is a chance for unnecessary comparisons. So, reports are that basing on the advice of the distributors, the makers of Ustaad Bhagath Singh are contemplating to drop the Premieres Plan and may opt for early morning shows on 19th. 

This appears to be a wise call by Mythri Movie Makers. Considering the decent buzz the film is carrying at the moment, the makers seem to believe that even early morning benefit shows can give a strong boost to the film if it opens on a positive note.
