Krithi Shetty shot to fame a couple of years ago with Uppena, but lately her career has been going through a slow phase. In Telugu cinema, she has already faced more than four continuous flops, which slowed down the momentum she once had. In Tamil, her much-talked-about debut Love Insurance Kompany with Pradeep Ranganathan, directed by Vignesh Shivan, has been getting postponed multiple times. Meanwhile, her film Vaa Vaathiyaar with Karthi released during Pongal but failed to impress audiences, and even its OTT release did not create much buzz.
