The film, which was earlier called Battle of Galwan, will now be released with a new title, Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace. The announcement was made by Salman himself on social media along with a brand-new poster of the film.

The movie is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and is inspired by the real-life 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops along the border. The story focuses on the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers during the tense confrontation.
