Which Telugu Star Will Lock Dhurandhar Director Next?

As of now, there is a bit of a shortage for capable pan India film directors in Tollywood, which is perhaps the reason why stars like Allu Arjun and NTR are looking at Atlee, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Nelson. While Rajamouli, Sukumar and Sandeep Reddy Vanga are the three primary options, there’s vacancy for a few more.

This is precisely why Telugu heroes are preparing to work with other language directors who have strong skills and conviction. And now we can perhaps argue that there is a new sensational addition to the list in the form of Bollywood film maker, Aditya Dhar.

This technically gifted filmmaker is now in the limelight for delivering one of the biggest blockbusters of all time in Indian cinema, Dhurandhar. The sequel for the film, Dhurandhar 2 has released in theatres recently, and it is opening to sensational revenues.

We have already seen several Telugu stars like NTR, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and Vijay Devarakonda posted positively about the film. It is evident that all the top stars from Telugu cinema have watched the film and enjoyed it.

This could naturally open the door for a potential collaboration for Aditya with any of the mainstream superstar in Telugu Cinema. This is a very good option as well, considering his strong skill set and storytelling capabilities.

Aditya has this very peculiar style of presenting nationalistic social films that have a very strong backdrop. Films like Dhurandhar, Uri have instated the same.

There might be a bit of deviation from Telugu nativity with regard to his films, but he more than make up for it with his refined story telling. If he can come up with a universal script that also suits the sensibilities of the Telugu audience, we can potentially expect any Telugu star to work with this extremely talented director.

Aditya is one such Director, who doesn’t depend on CGI heavily, which would mean that the production timelines of his films are rather brief and closely controlled.

This would be very convenient for our stars as well. But the real question is whether a potential collaboration would actually be happening in the near future at all.
