Dhurandhar 2’s Massacre at the Telugu B & C Centres

The ‘Dhurandhar’ storm has once again struck the Indian box office. This time it is the sequel ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ and the carnage is even more bigger than the first part. The film is running riot at every territory in India and Overseas due to the unanimous response from the first day itself.

As Dhurandhar received a thumping response from audiences in both Andhra and Telangana even without a dubbed version, the makers have decided to release the sequel in Telugu language because of the fantastic hype in moviegoers. However, the Telugu version got delayed due to censor issues. Nevertheless, the Hindi version too secured terrific openings in Telugu states.

Meanwhile, the Telugu version finally released on Saturday and the response is simply mind-blowing and unprecedented. The film is creating a rampage at the ticket windows in all major cities of both states. In a shocking trend which is quite unusual, even B and C centre screens are getting sold out like never before within seconds.

Trade circles are surprised with the unbelievable response in mass territories for a Bollywood film and that too for a sequel with no release for the first installment in Telugu version. Many screens with no proper facilities are also witnessing phenomenal footfalls for the evening and night shows on the first day.

Given the reputation that Tollywood fans usually encourage films from other languages just like Telugu movies, Dhurandhar 2 is expected to perform well in A centers due to its genre. But, the mass havoc in B and C centers is totally unexpected and never heard of before.

As the film secured sensational reviews and promising talk, moviebuffs are making a beeline to grab the tickets and witness the full-blown action feast headlined by Ranveer Singh. Despite the delay in release, Dhurandhar 2 is likely to create history at the Telugu box office and emerge as the highest grossing Bollywood film of all time.

With big stars and noted celebrities from Tollywood going gaga over the Aditya Dhar directional, the hype got bigger among Telugu audiences. Even though Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh released on March 19, Dhurandhar 2 is likely to dominate the weekend box office without any doubts and target more milestones in the long run due to lack of any new releases in the close vicinity.

Ranveer Singh’s acting masterclass and Aditya Dhar’s engaging narration with unrestrained action blocks have made the sequel a blockbuster. The film has took a record smashing start at the box office and aims to break more records in the opening weekend.
