Fahadh Faasil Becoming an Expensive Bet for Tollywood?

Fahad Faasil is one of the most admired actors of the current generation from Malayalam film industry. He built a strong fan base with a rich repertoire of challenging roles including Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, which brought him pan-India laurels. 

After the massive success of Pushpa franchise, many believed that Fahad will be flooded with numerous offers in Tollywood due to his craze among moviegoers. But, he is reportedly demanding a hefty remuneration which is said to be quite expensive for medium and low budget filmmakers. 

Recently, there were reports that Fahad Faasil landed a key role in director Anil Ravipudi’s next film with Victory Venkatesh. This crazy news created a huge buzz because of Fahad’s rising popularity in Tollywood after Pushpa. However, he was left out in last minute due to remuneration issues. 

It is heard that Fahad was replaced with Kalyan Ram for demanding an exorbitant two digit remuneration due to which the budget is likely to shoot up further. The unexpected change become a talking point in the industry circles. 

Now, the latest gossip is that Fahad has been approached for a significant role in Ram Pothineni’s next film. Though there is no official confirmation on this news, there is a strong buzz that he might join the cast. Our sources state that his name hasn’t even come up in the discussions.

Fahad Faasil is said to quoting high remuneration on par with that of big-ticket films even for medium range films which is why filmmakers are stepping back to sign him in their projects due to budget issues.

No doubt, Fahad is a talented actor and his presence will bring a massive hype for the project. However, his unreasonable remuneration is turning out to an expensive bet for telugu producers. They are looking for other actors in his place so as to minimise the budget.
