Shaurya’s Bad Boy Karthik Takes A Summer Risk

This summer is loaded with medium to high-budget entertainers from star heroes. While a few have already hit theatres and others are gearing up, Naga Shaurya’s upcoming film Bad Boy Karthik takes a bold summer risk by locking its theatrical release for April 17th.

The poster features Naga Shaurya raising his fist defiantly while holding a weapon, set against an intense backdrop of a goddess idol and traditional performers. In a significant update, Zee Studios has acquired the theatrical, satellite and streaming rights, giving the film a positive boost ahead of release.

Directed by debutant Raam Desina, Bad Boy Karthik is billed as a mass action entertainer with strong family emotions. The recently released song highlights the brother–sister bond, with Sridevi Vijaykumar playing his sister. Vidhi stars as the female lead.

It remains to be seen whether this Sri Vaishnavi Films production can make its mark in the competitive summer lineup.
