Samantha Akkineni emerged as a superstar actress in the South. She’s become a picky actor off-late and she wants the role she picked to be super perfect. Though there are not many films she is working on right now, a rumor resurfaced that she walked out of a big film.
Samantha joined hands with another star actress Nayanthara for a film Kaathuvaakkula Rendu Kadhal with Vijay Sethupathi in lead and directed by Nayan’s boyfriend Vignesh Shivan. Earlier, there were rumors that Samantha had to leave the movie due to her pregnancy. After they were rubbished for good, here comes a new one that the director-boyfriend of Nayan, Vignesh has written a lesser important role for Samantha than that of her costars.
According to the reports, Samantha was told her role is the second lead but equally prominent with the main female lead played by Nayanthara. But upon finding her role not meaty as expected, Samantha is heard to have had a chat with Vignesh before walking out of the movie, upset. The director is reportedly in talks with Keerthy Suresh and Trisha to fill Samantha’s place.
While these are the rumors coming up, the recent tweet from Samantha on Nayanthara’s birthday appears to be contradicting all of them. Samantha wrote ‘Happy birthday to the one and only Nayanthara… Keep shining brighter and brighter and inspiring us to fight for what is ours. More power to you sister.. A superstar in Telugu praising another in Tamil is great to witness, but that doesn’t rule out differing professionally. Well, we will have to wait for the official confirmation on this.
