Why Nayanthara Trolled For Attending Husband’s Movie Event?

Veteran actress Nayantara has this very strict principal when it comes to the promotional campaigns of her films as she makes it very clear to her producers that she would not attend any interviews or events.

But for a change, Nayantara stepped out for a film event and took this stage after many years, and this was for her husband’s directorial film Love Insurance Kompany that’s releasing on April 10. 

The pre-release event of this film was held last night in the presence of the cast and crew, and this was when Nayantara took the occasion to get on stage. This was projected like a surprise to the entire team as no one knew that Nayantara would be attending the event and get on stage. 

So the videos of Nayanthara surprisingly getting on stage and hugging her husband, Vignesh Sivan, who is the director of this film are now going viral on socials. This incident is also warranting a wide range of reactions and expectedly so as well. 

A few people are commenting that it is bad on Nayantara’s part to avoid such events when it comes to her own films, where producers spend crores of money, but finding time and efforts just for her husband’s film.

A few others are commenting that the surprise regarding Nayantara’s entry on stage and Vignesh’s reaction to the same look very scripted and more like a promotional stint. 

But at the same time, her fans are arguing that Nayanthara is also the co producer of the film and it is well within her right to partake in the promotional campaign. At the end of the day, it is creative choice whether or not to attend such events.
