Surendra Yarlagadda of SS Creations, son-in-law of ANR, brother-in-law of Nagarjuna, and father of Sumanth and Supriya Yarlagadda, once backed path-breaking films like Gaayam and Shiva, along with several other notable projects.
Now, Supriya Yarlagadda is bringing the banner back to life with the much-awaited love-and-action drama Dacoit starring Adivi Sesh. The new SS Creations logo was unveiled during the film’s pre-release event, with Venkat Akkineni doing the honours.
Sumanth praised his sister for her relentless hard work in making the film a reality. Supriya, meanwhile, explained the deep emotional meaning behind the redesigned logo.
“We wanted to re-launch SS Creations with a film that truly stands for something- and I believe Dacoit is the right beginning. The logo carries layers of symbolism- my grandfather’s dhoti signifying his simplicity, my grandmother’s kumkum reflecting her grace, my daughter running ahead with childlike freedom, and my grandfather guiding her with warmth. And behind it all is the music from my father’s film Gaayam, binding generations through art.”
With this re-launch, Supriya hopes to carry forward her father’s legacy and deliver meaningful, memorable cinema under the revived banner.
