Will Sesh Hit the High Note with Dacoit?

Adivi Sesh is one of the few bankable actors because of his impressive track record which he built over the years by churning out back-to-back hits as a writer and lead actor. He cultivated a habit to redefine the suspense genre by delivering edge-of-the-seat thrillers like Kshanam, Godachari, Evaru and Hit : The Second Case.

Now, he is coming up with another similar attempt in the form of Dacoit, which is billed as a romantic action thriller. The recently unveiled theatrical trailer has received good response and set up high expectations on the film. The strong technical values and riveting screenplay are likely to be the selling points for Dacoit going by the visuals in the trailer. 

As Sesh invested nearly four years since his last release, which is quite an unusual gap for him, the box office outcome of Dacoit is going to be very crucial. The film needs to secure unanimous talk and perform well at the box office to emerge as a clean hit given that considerable budget has been spent in the making of this project. 

On a positive note, Dacoit has got no big competition this Friday and there are strong chances for a promising start at the box office. But, it all depends on well moviegoers receive this film during the Summer season. Dacoit has an ensemble cast and the presence of Mrunal Thakur is another reason to attract youth audiences. 

With so many factors going in his way despite the long day, Sesh should score big with Dacoit and continue his success streak to prove his image as one of the reliable actors of the current generation. Moreover, his next film G2, which is also positioned as another high-stakes thriller that being mounted on a huge budget, will hit the screens in a few more months after Dacoit.

So, Sesh should pass the litmus test this Friday with distinction and prove his calibre. Directed by debutant Shaneil Deo, Dacoit supporting cast in the form of Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla.
