These days, many filmmakers are coming up with movies based on nostalgia and are scoring hits at the box office. Actor Kiran Abbavaram has given a suspense thriller touch to a nostalgic story and is coming up with his maiden production venture, Thimmarajupalli TV.
Directed by Muniraju, this movie features Sai Tej and Veda Jalandharr in the lead roles. The film’s theatrical trailer was launched today, and it appears to be a rural drama packed with entertainment and suspense.
The trailer begins with villagers collecting money for the lead, Satish (Sai Tej), to bring a TV to their village. Everyone is amused to see the first television in their village. However, this TV eventually becomes a point of conflict between Satish and another gang.
How the TV becomes the centre of conflict between the two groups and what bigger chaos unfolds in the village due to the television might be the major crux of the story.
The film has been made with mostly newcomers. The setup, the tone, and the language will bring back the memories of the late 80s and the early 90s.
The trailer hints that the film is packed with a lot of commercial elements. If it manages to strike a chord with the audiences, there are high chances of Kiran Abbavaram scoring a success as a producer. Thimmarajupalli TV is slated for a worldwide release on April 17.
