Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is known for giving strong and befitting replies to his critics. A section of critics in the Hindi media openly criticised his films Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh and Animal for alleged misogyny and toxic lead characters.
However, Sandeep never kept calm about that criticism and gave it back to those critics and his haters whenever he got a chance. Now, he dropped a big counter on the people who criticised Dhurandhar.
Today, he took to X (Twitter) to appreciate Dhurandhar 2 and also counterattack people who called it a propaganda film. He said that actors and writers who built their careers on propaganda are the ones who are now mocking Dhurandhar. He called Dhurandhar 2 an outstanding film. It is already known that Vanga and Prabhas watched the film last night in Hyderabad.
Dhurandhar director Aditya Dhar thanked Vanga for his appreciation, saying he admires the way Vanga firmly stands by his beliefs and backs his cinema with conviction. He called it inspiring for filmmakers to trust their own voice. Dhar also sent his love to Prabhas and wished Vanga the best for Spirit, adding that he would be happy to help if needed.
Having such a bold stance while working on massive projects with top stars, both Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Aditya Dhar appear quite similar in their approach towards cinema. Their unapologetic attitude and strong belief in their storytelling are being widely appreciated by movie lovers.
In fact, some fans are even suggesting that Vanga should consider involving Aditya Dhar in some capacity in Spirit, especially after the latter openly expressed his willingness to help in the film’s journey.
