Oftentimes, the heroines from other languages test their luck in Telugu, and sometimes, those who are successful in Telugu also test their luck in other languages. Sometimes, it is because of the opportunities, and sometimes, it is because of the lack of opportunities and back-to-back failures.
Sreeleela and Krithi Shetty, who rose to fame in Telugu cinema, are struggling to find success in Telugu and have ventured into Tamil cinema. Unfortunately, their struggle is never-ending in Tamil as well.
Sreeleela, who thought that Sivakarthikeyan’s Parashakti would bring her huge success, failed to make it big. The film flopped, denting her opportunities. The last few movies that Sreeleela did in Telugu ended as flops, and she is no longer a primary option for many actors and filmmakers. Kriti Shetty is also facing a similar fate now.
Krithi Shetty faced a flop in the form of Annagaru Vostaru in January and now, she has another failure in the form of Love Insurance Kompany. Pradeep Ranganathan’s starrer could not help the actor win big at the box office. She also tasted success in Telugu long back and is unable to revive her glory.
Having said that, the two actors are still in the game. The buzz says that Krithi will next be seen in Venkatesh’s film, directed by Anil Ravipudi. On the other hand, Sreeleela will be seen in Dhanush’s next film. The two films could be their other ticket to victory.
