In our latest episode, emerging filmmaker Naresh’s journey to Paapam Pratap reflects passion and persistence. Growing up near Bhadrachalam, his love for cinema began with TV and local shoots.

During his childhood, his grandfather once asked him to wake him when NTR appeared in Mayabazar in TV. When Naresh did so, he too woke up, watched NTR, and was completely mesmerized, an experience that sparked his first true passion for cinema.

In the industry, he struggled without contacts or money, working as a junior artist and assistant director. Under mentors, he learned direction and filmmaking basics while facing instability.

Naresh turned to writing for survival, earning little while dealing with rejections and lack of credit. His earlier project, causing emotional setbacks, but he stayed determined.

His film Papam Pratap is inspired by real-life relationship issues and social conflicts. He focused on realism, completing the script without commercial compromises to connect with audiences.

Despite hardships, Naresh’s journey is one of resilience. With family support, he turned years of struggle into his debut film, inspiring others chasing dreams in cinema.
