Koratala To Start Another Sequel Before Devara 2?

With four consecutive super hits, Koratala Siva emerged as one of the most prolific filmmakers in the Telugu film industry, with a 100% success rate. However, his streak was broken by the disastrous result of Acharya. Later, he teamed up with Jr NTR for the high-budget film Devara.

Despite performing well at the box office, Devara has sparked some discussions around Koratala Siva’s storytelling, raising expectations for Devara 2. The sequel is taking its time, with the team focused on refining the script to deliver a stronger and more impactful cinematic experience.

It has been a year and a half since Devara was released, and till now, Devara 2 hasn’t hit the floors. Many people wondered whether it would ever take off. There were also reports saying that it was shelved. Meanwhile, the makers have confirmed that the sequel will go on floors soon. However, it now seems to be put on hold once again due to another film’s sequel.

If we get into the story, it is being heard that Koratala will soon present the sequel to Ajay Bhupathi’s film, Mangalavaram. Ajay had already announced Mangalavaram 2 during the release of the first part. However, he couldn’t take it on the floors due to the work on his ongoing project, Srinivasa Mangapuram. As per reports, he will get done with Srinivasa Mangapuram soon and start working on Mangalavaram 2.

Reportedly, Mangalavaram 2 will be bankrolled by Devara’s producer, Sudhakar Mikkilineni, and presented by Koratala. Earlier, Koratala presented the film Krishnamma, which ended up as a box-office failure.

It is heard that, as he is presenting the film, Koratala will be actively involved in the script and production work of Mangalavaram 2. As there is a lot of time for Devara 2 to go on floors, he is now reportedly focusing on Mangalavaram 2. This news is making NTR fans bother whether Devara 2’s works have been put on hold once again due to this sequel.
