Nitesh Tiwari’s film Ramayana was recently presented at CinemaCon, a major film event held in Las Vegas. About 20 minutes of the movie’s footage was shown to a select group, giving them an early look at the film. There has been a positive response to the footage from whoever has watched it.
Interestingly, producer Namit Malhotra and actor Yash also interacted with the media there post-screening. Reports suggest that Warner Bros. is showing interest in distributing the film globally.
Still, bringing Warner Bros on board for distribution is not an easy task. If this turns true, the film will have a wider overseas release and could easily hit over 4500 screens in the USA.
However, this distribution deal has not been officially confirmed by Warner Bros. or the film’s team yet. The rumor is fast spreading in Bollywood media. Especially, at the time when the teaser received a mediocre response, and if this deal news comes true, that will only benefit the film.
Billed to be a mythological epic grand epic fantasy, the film features Ranbir kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash in the lead roles. Nitesh Tiwari is the film’s director where AR rahman and Hans Zimmer composing the music.
