Dashing director Puri Jagannadh completes 26 years in the industry. The director who made some path-breaking films, and worked with almost all the top stars in the industry is presently making a commercial entertainer Slum Dog with Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi.
Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi took a moment to honor his director Puri Jagannadh’s remarkable 26-year journey in the film industry, describing it as far more than just a milestone. “26 years in cinema is not just a milestone, it’s a legacy built with courage, conviction, and a fearless voice,” stated he.
Vijay Sethupathi expressed strong confidence that the film will be remembered as a special chapter in their careers, suggesting that it carries something unique and meaningful.
Ending on a note of gratitude and admiration, he extended his best wishes to Puri Jagannadh for continued success, reaffirming his deep respect for the filmmaker’s contribution to cinema.
Produced jointly by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur of Puri Connects, along with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla of JB Mohan Pictures, Slum Dog is in the last leg of post-production. The makers are planning to kick-start publicity after the elections in Tamil Nadu are completed.
