Khalnayak is set to return with a sequel titled Khalnayak Returns, nearly three decades after the original became a cult classic. The film, which starred Sanjay Dutt and Jacky shroff in one of his most iconic roles, is still remembered for redefining the anti-hero space in Bollywood.

The sequel announcement has generated curiosity, especially with Subhash Ghai backing the project once again. However, the big question remains, can the same magic be recreated today?

Ghai, who was once a dominant force in Hindi cinema, has not delivered a major hit in recent years, raising doubts about whether his style will connect with today’s audience.
