Gaayapadda Simham, starring Tharun Bhascker and directed by Kasyap Sreenivas, generated tremendous buzz with its impressive promotional material. The pre-release event turned lively, with the film’s team and several prominent guests in attendance.
JD Chakravarthy made some unexpected revelations about the film’s journey. Calling Pavan Sadineni the first hero of the project, he credited him for backing Kasyap Sreenivas through the turbulent phases of production.
He revealed that the film’s audacious portrayal of a character inspired by Donald Trump triggered unusual reactions. “The conflict between Tharun and Trump in the story puts my character through absolute chaos,” he said, adding that the narrative was so provocative that even certain quarters raised concerns, with some urging the makers to halt the release. “Just yesterday, the team thought the film might not make it to May 1.”
He also shared that what began as an extended cameo for Sree Vishnu eventually evolved into a substantial role. “His character runs through the entire second half, and his timing is exceptional.”
Sree Vishnu, speaking about the film, assured audiences that Gaayapadda Simham will be a gripping and entertaining watch from start to finish. “It’s a neat two-hour ride. Faria shines in her role, and I returned the favour to Maanasa by doing a cameo after she did one in my film,” he said. He also thanked Nara Rohith for gracing the occasion.
