Peddi Fans Disappointed as Makers Missing IPL Magic

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan’s Peddi is scheduled for a grand release on June 4th. Buchi Babu Sana is the director of the movie. The team was supposed to bring the film for a release back in March, but postponed it twice, finally settling on a new release date of June 4th.

Interestingly, the film will not only be the last hope during the summer season but will also be the first biggie post-IPL. That said, the fans are really upset about the new release date.

From the first glimpse, Peddi has been attracting a lot of fans and audiences. Especially the first glimpse, featuring Ram Charan playing cricket, is an instant attraction. A lot of people assumed that the film would release during the IPL season and that cricket fans would turn to it, in line with the cricket fever all around.

Last time there was buzz during IPL, but with Sun Risers Hyderabad occupying the top place on the table now, there is a huge buzz around the tournament and anything that has cricket.

However, the fans are now urging the makers to at least promote it well during the IPL season and, if needs be, at the stadiums to get maximum visibility. The fans also want to have some exclusive footage in stadiums, bring stars to the stadium, as it could bring pan-India attention.

Nani’s The Paradise, which was supposed to release in March, was also postponed. But, the song Aaya Sher from the film got full advantage of the league.
