Drishyam 3: Will Georgekutty Finally End The Suspense?

Malayalam filmmaker Jeethu Joseph and Mohanlal delivered many blockbusters, but the Drishyam franchise truly stands apart. The two films in the franchise have already become big hits, and the time has come for the third installment.

The team released the trailer for the super-hit franchise’s third installment, and it sets the expectations. Jeethu focused more on what it cost Georgekutty for everything he has done so far.

Compared to the first two parts, Jeethu seems to have driven the plot more emotionally rather than on a thrilling note this time. The trailer begins with the entire Georgekutty family, still worrying about all that happened in their lives.

The trailer showcases all the recurring characters from the previous parts, and this time, Georgekutty worries about not telling what all he did, just that his family should not think he is a criminal, and there is something that he is hiding within himself, and it will be uncovered only on the big screen.

On the whole, the trailer sets the mood perfectly and promises a thrilling ride that is equally emotional enough to hook the audience. It looks like the team has not revealed too many things in the trailer, and the major twists will be unveiled only in the trailer.

Along with Mohanlal, the film features returning actors including Meena, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil. The supporting cast also includes Siddique, Asha Sharath, and Murali Gopy. The first part was released in 2013, and the second one came out in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The third part is scheduled for a grand release on the 21st of this month.
