Director’s Elevation To CM Vijay in Suriya’s Karuppu Event

Suriya’s Karuppu is one of the upcoming releases to look out for this month. As the film gears up for a grand release in both Telugu and Tamil this weekend, the team is looking forward to a positive response.

Titled Veerabhadrudu, the film unit held a pre-release event last evening in Hyderabad, where the key cast and crew marked their presence. During the event, Director RJ Balaji made comments about Vijay’s victory, which drew the attention of many.

Especially the reactions of Suriya and Karthi while Balaji was heaping praises over Vijay caught everyone’s attention. While Suriya could not contain his admiration for Vijay, Karthi also displayed his happiness by clapping to the words of Balaji.

Balaji said, “When Vijay sir floated a party two years ago in Tamil Nadu with a vision in which he put all his belief, no one believed in him. But, he has become the chief minister of Tamil Nadu today, surprising many.

At the same time, we have another example here in the form of Pawan Kalyan garu who believed in his vision and became successful. In the similar manner, I believed in myself and made this film.”

Trisha plays the female lead in the film and Sai Abhyankkar is the music director.
