Did Ek Din Flop Because of Aamir Khan’s Involvement?

Junaid Khan has made an interesting revelation about his career decisions and his father Aamir Khan’s involvement in them. The young actor recently shared that he has stopped showing film scripts to Aamir after learning a tough lesson during Ek Din.

According to Junaid, Ek Din was initially planned on a smaller scale, but things changed once Aamir heard the script and decided to back the project under his production house.

While Junaid admitted that Aamir loved the story emotionally, he now feels involving his father changed the film’s journey completely.

The actor explained that Aamir works at a pace suitable for an established superstar, where one film every few years is acceptable. However, Junaid believes he is still at an early stage in his career and needs to maintain a steady flow of releases to build momentum.

Despite the setbacks faced by Ek Din, Junaid clarified that he still respects Aamir immensely as a filmmaker and producer but has distanced himself from his dad creatively.

The actor is now focused on making independent choices and creating his own identity in Bollywood without depending too much on his father’s creative decisions.
