The percentage-revenue system for theatres in the Nizam area is creating unrest in the healthy ambiance of the Telugu film fraternity. The exhibitors and producers are not in sync, as is evident from the press meetings they have organized over the last two days.
However, more than making their point of view clear, this is clearly turning into a big mess where both parties are engaged in personal attacks.
During the press meet held by producers, Naga Vamsi stated that Asian Suniel is constructing multiplexes wherever he finds an open place and called it a joke that someone like him, who goes on erecting multiplexes, is displaying concern for single screens. However, Suniel countered, saying that Vamsi has duplicate hair, and told him he has built 33 single screens.
“I built 33 theatres and 5 more are on the way. I will also look after 15 more screens,” said Suniel in a statement while also criticizing Naga Vamsi.
Whatever is happening is not going on in a healthy manner. This unnecessary crisis is not good for either party, and they should realize this at the earliest and come forward to achieve an amicable solution together.
In times like these, maintaining peace and sorting out issues internally is more important than getting into personal attacks.
