The Cannes Film Festival has grown beyond a celebration of cinema and is now regarded as one of the world’s biggest fashion events. Celebrities from across the globe walk the famous red carpet in luxurious designer outfits and expensive jewelry, often competing to create the most extravagant look.
Not much is discussed about it but the female actors secretly compete among themselves as to who could pull off the best appearance.
Interestingly, Bollywood actor Urvashi Rautela pulled out a costly appearance at the event last year. In a report published by a leading news daily, Urvashi’s appearance was worth 156 million dollars, which is approximately 1300 Cr rupees in Indian currency.
Last year, Urvashi wore a stunning Michael Cinco gown inspired by Mexican art, along with a unique parrot-shaped clutch and rare diamonds. The appearance turned out to be the costliest ever appearance, and much of the value came from extraordinary diamonds, including the Moussaieff Red Diamond and Tiffany Yellow Diamond.
In 2026, Urvashi once again attracted attention at Cannes with a sparkling silver gown designed by JoliPoli Couture. The extravagant couture look that is going viral on social media is reportedly valued at $155.87 million.
Well, even though these prices have been reported by national media outlets, there is no credible report confirming them, as the figures appear to be extremely high in both cases, reportedly going above ₹1000 crore in indian currency.
On the work front, Urvashi was last seen in Jaat and will next be seen in Black Rose.
