Film journalists nowadays have been crossing the line during media interactions with stars just to create some sensation and make a fuss out of nothing. They are posing irrelevant and distasteful questions only to turn the entire episode into a controversy for the sake of publicity.
A similar incident took place recently when popular actress Malavika Mohanan interacted with Tamil media. She has now expressed deep disappointment and displeasure over the kind of questions she has been facing from sections of the media regarding actor and politician Vijay.
A journalist asked Malavika, “All the places where Vijay sir is going, Trisha will be there. Do you have any idea?” Malavika took this unnecessary question on a lighter note and expressed surprise about the manner in which the journalist went into the personal matters of Vijay and Trisha.
She now took to her X and reacted strongly over the issue. She said that media interactions should remain respectful and meaningful rather than turning into gossip-driven conversations.
The Raja Saab actress, who worked with Vijay in the film Master, has often spoken positively about him in interviews. She previously praised Vijay for his discipline, punctuality, and calm nature on film sets.
The actress also mentioned that she learned professionalism by observing senior stars like Vijay, Rajinikanth, and Mohanlal during her early years in cinema. According to her, such experienced actors taught her the importance of respecting time and maintaining discipline while working.
The controversy has once again sparked a big debate on why journalists are stooping so low for the sake of sensationalism instead of maintaining ethics and decorum during interviews. Many have lashed out at the journalist for his loose tongue and unpalatable questions.
Meanwhile, Vijay continues to remain in the spotlight after his political rise in Tamil Nadu, while Malavika is busy with multiple film projects across different South Indian film industries.
