Director Buchi Babu Sana and Producer Satish kilaru are leaving no stone unturned to build anticipation around Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor. After the recently launched trailer received a mixed response from audiences and fans, the makers are now planning a series of grand promotional events to shift momentum in the film’s favour.
Following the trailer launch, the team is preparing for another massive event in Bhopal on May 23, which is expected to be conducted on a sprawling 50-acre site. Industry circles suggest the event will be mounted on a huge scale, reflecting the makers’ confidence in the project and their determination to create stronger buzz ahead of release.
Adding to the excitement, legendary composer A. R. Rahman is expected to play a crucial role in the upcoming promotions. Reports indicate that a large-scale musical concert is being planned in Bhopal with world-class sound and stage infrastructure.
Interestingly, the sound equipment being arranged for the event is reportedly worth nearly ₹150 crore and will be utilised on a rental basis with a rental charge of around ₹1 crore.
With the trailer receiving divided reactions, many believe the responsibility now rests heavily on Rahman’s music and background score to elevate the film’s hype further.
