NTR and Prashanth Neel are working for the first time for the prestigious film, Dragon. The film’s glimpse was out today, on the occassion of NTR’s birthday. The glimpse introduces the world that the film operates in, and there is a thought behind the same.
After the glimpse’s release, many fans are not satisfied that the glimpse does not appear to be celebrating the hero as much as other such glimpses usually do. However, it is a conscious decision to create the glimpse in such a manner.
Speaking in a recent interview, Prashanth Neel said that it was their conscious decision not only to celebrate the hero but to tell the story and introduce the world they are building.
Prashanth and his team intentionally gave it a thought and consciously chose this strategy so that it becomes easy for them next time when they come up with another teaser or some other promotional material, as they can directly focus on the drama.
Prashanth Neel has done this for the first time, and he agrees that they intentionally drifted away from the traditional way of celebrating heroes through glimpses. Prashanth is more focused on giving deets about the story, the characters, and the world in which the hero is born.
It is an appreciable move from NTR to give the freedom to the team to let the content speak first and let the dynamics of the film get into the public without getting into a self-celebration mode. If the people start understanding this model more, we may be seeing many such initiatives in the coming days.
