Confirmed: Allu Arjun & Basil Joseph Film Is Not Shaktimaan

Allu Arjun has been waiting to team up with directors from other languages for quite some time now. Finally, it is happening with a film directed by Atlee Kumar.

Very soon, Allu Arjun will also work with director Basil Joseph. Although the official announcement has not been made yet, there is too much speculation in the media about this particular project. But we got clarity now that the film is not based on Shaktimaan.

Basil Joseph was supposed to do a film based on Shaktimaan with Ranveer Singh playing the lead role. However, the project did not happen and is reported to be called off. In the meantime, director Arun Anirudhan, who helmed Baasil’s Athiradi, gave clarity that the project he has penned, assumed to be Shaktimaan, is shelved, and the project supposed to happen with Basil and Allu Arjun is different.

Allu Arjun and Basil Joseph are definitely collaborating, but the project in their combination is certainly a different one, and the details of the plot and genre have also not been finalized yet.

There are also rumors that Basil Joseph has been invited to Allu Sirish’s wedding only because the project is happening. The actor-director duo reportedly met multiple times to discuss the story already.

Most likely, the film will hit the floors once Allu Arjun wraps up the film Raaka.
