Balayya Reacts On Exhibitors’ Crucial Problem

The ongoing tussle between exhibitors and producers/distributors in the Telugu film industry has become a major issue that requires timely action.

One of the key concerns, along with the ongoing percentage issue, being raised by exhibitors is that they are on the losing side due to the lack of a proper flow of big films, which is destroying their year round revenues.

This matter has reached Nandamuri Balakrishna now, and he had a pretty concerned reaction to the same while speaking at a public event today.

Balakrishna pointed out that there is strong need for big heroes to do multiple films at a consistent phase in order to save the exhibition sector.

“It is the collective job of the Telugu film industry to make sure that we make as many films as we can to feed the exhibition sector. It is sad to see them locking up their properties due to lack of adequate flow of films. We used to work better when filmmaking did not have such advancements and make films were coming up. Now we have the techniques and advancements but we’re slowing down films.”

It was good to see Balakrishna, being concerned about the problems raised by the exhibition sector, which has been the backbone of the film industry. He has called the industry to produce more films, which should help to save exhibitors.

Balakrishna himself had been consistent with films, as he has been making sure that he has at least one new release per year. It is the collective responsibility of the entire industry to maintain such healthy work rate.
