Actor turned politician and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay called on prominent Kollywood star Thala Ajith at the latter’s residence late in the night on Saturday to offer condolences on the death of his mother, who passed away earlier in the morning.
It is a known fact that Ajith’s mother, Mohini Mani, aged 85 years, died due to age related ailments on Saturday morning. Celebrities and well wishers shared their tributes for the bereaved family and expressed their support to Ajith during the difficult times. TVK supremo Vijay also conveyed his profound condolences from his Chief Minister’s office.
Later in the day, CM Vijay accompanied by actress Trisha personally visited Ajith’s residence in Chennai to pay respects and console the family. Visuals from outside Ajith’s house are currently going all over social media as both actors were spotted outside with a warm interaction.
Ajith received Vijay and Trisha at the entrance before welcoming into his residence. Vijay has reportedly spent some time with Ajith’s family and returned to his residence.
Both Vijay and Ajith are contemporaries of Kollywood with immense popularity. They are considered as arch rivals by their respective fandoms when it comes to movies and box office records.
However, they maintained cordial relation over the years and even shared screen space together way back in 1995 for the film Rajavin Parvaiyile. Trisha also acted with Ajith in numerous movies.
Despite his busy schedule as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thalapathy Vijay’s personal visit to Ajith’s house is now winning widespread acclaim all over.
