Teaser Talk: Slum Dog’s Bloody Revenge!

Director Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming action drama Slum Dog, starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, is currently in the final stages of post-production.

With the film, carrying the intriguing tagline 33 Temple Road, gearing up for its theatrical release, the makers kick-start promotions, by launching the teaser today.

The teaser begins with Vijay Sethupathi’s reflecting on the neglected existence of beggars and warning those who prey on them. As the visuals unfold, the teaser shifts into a gripping mix of action sequences, emotional moments, and character introductions, gradually pulling viewers into a world that appears both dangerous and unpredictable.

The biggest talking point, however, is the mystery surrounding Sethupathi’s role. While he is shown as a blind beggar navigating harsh realities, the teaser repeatedly hints that there may be a mystery surrounding his character. Whether he is truly visually impaired or hiding a larger truth remains the central question.

Puri Jagannadh appears to have crafted another unconventional protagonist, and Vijay Sethupathi embraces the role with remarkable conviction. His rugged makeover, restrained performance, and commanding screen presence instantly grab attention.

Samyuktha adds glamour as the leading lady, while Tabu lends authority as a determined police officer. Duniya Vijay exudes danger in an antagonist role.

Sam K Naidu’s cinematography captures the gritty atmosphere with style, while Harshavardhan Rameshwar’s thunderous background score injects intensity into every frame.

Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under Puri Connects in collaboration with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla’s JB Motion Pictures, the production values looked good.

The makers have announced to release the movie soon in all south Indian languages and Hindi.
