As part of Maa Inti Bangaram promotions, director Nandini Reddy had an insightful conversation with Ram Venkat Srikar on Gulte Pro. During the discussion, she opened up about the collaborative nature of filmmaking and the many voices that shape a movie.
Nandini Reddy stated that filmmaking is never about one person’s judgment or ego. She revealed that every major decision in Maa Inti Bangaram was discussed among the team before reaching a conclusion.
Speaking about the working process, she said movie’s creator Raj and the entire team freely expressed their opinions. Everyone was encouraged to share their perspective, creating an environment where ideas were debated openly.
According to Nandini, the team constantly listened to each other and tried to convince one another through discussions rather than imposing decisions. This helped them arrive at the best possible creative choices for the film.
She stressed that flexibility is essential in filmmaking. Being willing to hear different viewpoints often improves the final output and brings fresh dimensions to the story.
The director also pointed out that producers and directors must work hand in hand. Creative ambitions and production realities need to be balanced through continuous communication and mutual understanding.
Nandini further explained that collaborating with different technicians and editors helps filmmakers avoid repetition. New people bring new experiences and perspectives that can positively influence the storytelling process.
Summing up her thoughts, Nandini Reddy said Maa Inti Bangaram is the result of collective effort rather than individual judgment. Her comments reflected the belief that successful filmmaking is built on trust, collaboration and shared creative responsibility.
