Going into the story, Ashok and Vijayalakshmi, who claimed to operate A4 motion pictures, duped an elderly man from Kukatpally, Hanuman Rao.

The agreement was that this production house would launch the son of Hanumantha Rao and it return this individual needs to pay rupees 3.5 crore for the production of the film. This couple which promoted themselves as producers claimed that Hanumantha Rao’s son would be made a big hero and the film would also generate huge profits.

Subsequently, Hanumanth Rao gave them over ₹3.5 in cash over the last couple of years. After understanding that he got scammed in broad daylight Hanumantha Rao approached them to return the money. But the couple threatened to dismantle his son’s career and said they wouldn’t return the money.
