Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Peddi is in its crucial second weekend. It will be interesting to see how the movie holds from Monday given that there are signs of slowdown already in the working days.
In the Telugu States, the movie had a better run. We will have to see how many areas will breakeven with the GST given by the producer and how may areas do not get there even with the GST.
But it is a fair result anyways. Given the mixed talk and huge Pre-Business, nobody thought coming this far is possible.
The movie is a failure out of Telugu States and the Overseas.
The buyer in Karnataka will be losing big amount.
Jio Studios reportedly sent an advance of ~40 Crore for the Hindi version. The movie did not click there and so, the producer had to send big amount back.
The movie is a non-starter in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. But then, the advances from Tamil Nadu and Malayalam are not big deal.
The Overseas Buyer lost big on the film. He paid about 43 Crore and lost huge on the film.
The North America breakeven alone is about 6.5 Million Dollars and the full run will only seen around 3.5 Million closing.
Rest of the Overseas will also see massive losses.
The Producer has to makeup for the losses of the Overseas Buyer since it is massive.
