One of the most anticipated films in the global cinema is coming up shortly in the form of Odyssey. This film is directed by the legendary Christopher Nolan, and it is preparing for release on July 17.
The promotional material of this film has been rather questionable till now. This is due to the fact that people have been finding fault with the casting choices as there are performances that extreme wokism has been identified in filling crucial roles. The desperate effort to diversify the races of the actors and cast multiracial actors is looking artificial.
Now, this film is facing extreme backlash on social media as the newly released trailer has received multiple times more dislikes than likes on YouTube.
The fact that the trailer has gained over 100,000 dislikes as opposed to just 47K likes is instating this fact and the shocking thing is that the volume of dislikes is consistently climbing up.
Over 100k dislikes and it’s still climbing. That’s actually pathetic for a Nolan movie. After the woke casting, and the disrespect to both the original story and the Greeks, people are clearly not having it, a Twitter user commented.
After all the drama, the woke casting choices, and the forced modern take on the story, this is what the “final trailer” is pulling. That’s actually embarrassing for a Nolan movie. It looks like a lot of people already checked out before it even dropped, another comment read.
The film will now have to face the big challenge of impressing the audience to a large capacity when it releases on July 17 as things are expected from Christopher Nolan blockbuster.
