The success meet of Satya Dev starrer Rao Bahadur reflected the growing admiration the film has been earning across all regions, as the entire team shared experiences that highlighted its emotional impact on audiences.

Director Venkatesh Maha thanked his producers for standing by his vision and acknowledged Namrata’s dedication in patiently listening to an extensive narration. He also heaped praise on Deepa Thomas and Vikas, calling their performances among the film’s strongest assets. Maha admitted that the initial online reactions had worried him, but the overwhelming response from audiences in theatres completely changed his perspective, reinforcing his faith in theatrical cinema.

Satya Dev described Rao Bahadur as the film he had always wanted to make. He shared that despite many setbacks throughout his career, this project brought him immense personal satisfaction because audiences genuinely believe the film deserves to be experienced on the big screen. He praised Venkatesh Maha’s uncompromising approach to filmmaking, the rigorous rehearsals undertaken by the cast, and the decision to use sync sound to preserve authenticity.

“When Maha was trying to make this film with other heroes, I was actually the one recommending the script to them. Fortunately, the project eventually came to me. More than anything, I simply wanted this movie to be made.”

He further revealed that Rahul Ravindran and several others gave exceptionally positive feedback after watching the film.

“Vikas deserves every bit of appreciation. He delivered such a natural and restrained performance. Deepa is terrific and brings everyone to tears with her performance. The entire team underwent extensive workshops to prepare for this movie.”
