What’s Nani Cooking Up With Tamil Young Guns?

Natural Star Nani is known for choosing unique scripts and maintaining a diverse filmography. He is currently busy wrapping up The Paradise, a massive pan-India project helmed by Srikanth Odela. Meanwhile, his much awaited collaboration with Sujeeth, which is already titled Bloody Romeo, is facing uncertainty after the recent developments relating to OG sequel.

Now, a fresh speculation started making rounds in the industry circles. Reportedly, Nani is keen to team up with happening Kollywood director Subhash K. Raj, who recently delivered a resounding box office blockbuster with ‘Blast’. Kollywood circles are buzzing with the news that the duo has recently met and discussed an exciting idea to work together.

There is no credible information suggesting that story discussions or script sittings have taken place yet. However, reports indicate that a collaboration between Nani and Subash is very much on the cards. While nothing has been officially confirmed, the combination is said to be under active consideration.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that Nani initiated talks with a talented Kollywood director. Since the last one year, there have been numerous reports that hotshot Tamil director Cibi Chakravarthi has pitched a solid script that excited Nani in the first sitting. However, nothing concrete about this project has been heard so far.

Now, Subhash K Raj seems to have joined the wish list of Nani. Though there is no fixed timeline on when Nani will take up these interesting projects, one thing is very clear that Nani might be planning a surprising lineup in the coming years. By pairing his natural acting mettle with the sharp, raw storytelling of Kollywood’s brightest new directors, Nani could easily enhance his box office potential further.
