Why Telugu Youth Fighting For Tamil Music Directors?

The Telugu youth amongst the most passionate cinema audience in India, and the fact that every good film regardless of the language is encouraged by Telugu folk is an indication of the same.

We have now reached a point where Telugu youth on social media have started fan wars on neighbouring Tamil Nadu cinema technicians. This has become a topic of discussion in the social media space now.

Incidentally, Tamil cinema has produced two of the brightest young music sensations in India in the form of Anirudh Ravichander and Sai Abhyankar.

Anirudh has been the leader of the chart for many years now, and Sai is also putting his hand up with back to back winners. A section of Telugu youth is now quarrelling with each other as they pick sides with Anirudh and Sai.

A few believe that Anirudh is simply untouchable, having delivered sensational music albums consistently over the last decade. At the same time, others argue that Sai has been in such sublime form that he has emerged as the new number one and is already replacing Anirudh.

Needless to say, Sai has been dropping addictive albums in the form of Karuppu and Dude. His musical charts have also been through the roof of late.

However, Anirudh has maintained the gold standard in music for the last decade and firmly holds the number one position not just in South Indian cinema, but across Indian cinema. Sai may be delivering back to back blockbusters, but Anirudh has been doing it consistently for years, often with exceptionally high stakes riding on his projects.

It is perhaps understandable if Tamil folk fight over Anirudh and Sai, but we have now started to observe Telugu folk indulge in this battle. It is perfectly alright to follow the work of a technician, but getting into social media fan wars for the sake of it it is beyond comprehension.
