Tamil Nadu has found its new chief minister in the form of Thalapathy Vijay, and he is doing a pretty strong job as the head of the state. While his political career has started to witness a remarkable upswing, his cinema career has been going up and down.
His upcoming film Jana Nayagan is set for release this month and the stage is being prepared for the same. As much as fans are waiting for this film, Vijay ‘s political opponents are also looking for the opportunity to attack him with the same.
If this film has any case of black ticketing or elevated ticket prices, Vijay will immediately face allegations of power abuse, and corruption. It appears that he has understood the situation already and is preparing the policing for the same.
It is being said that the government have instructed authorities to conduct raids on theatres and if anyone is found selling tickets above the permitted price, the licence could be cancelled.
Vijay’s antifans and also his political opponents including the DMK supporters will be patiently waiting for his slip up and pounce on any opportunity. If we set aside the film prospect, any kind of ticket prices issue can directly haunt the political image of Vijay and he needs to be extremely cautious of the same.
The responsibility will fall on the production house, KVN productions to oversee the entire release aspect and ensure that Vijay does not get any blame or negative attention in this passage.
