Dulquer Picks Another Beautiful Telugu Title

Cinema titles often play a crucial role in creating the first impression. While many filmmakers opt for complicated Telugu words or unfamiliar English titles, a simple and meaningful name usually connects better with the audience. That is exactly where Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming film seems to have scored.

The makers have officially unveiled the first look of Dulquer Salmaan and Pooja Hegde’s romantic entertainer, confirming the title as Sri Sri. The poster features the lead pair sharing a light hearted moment while sitting on a wall, instantly setting a pleasant and feel good vibe in a college uniform.

Directed by Ravi Nelakuditi, the film has music composed by G V Prakash Kumar. Though the release date has not been announced, the poster confirms a 2026 release.

The title itself has become a talking point. Sri Sri is one of the most celebrated names in Telugu literature, instantly reminding audiences of legendary poet Srirangam Srinivasa Rao, whose revolutionary works transformed modern Telugu poetry.

However, industry buzz suggests the film’s title may have a different meaning altogether. According to inside talk, Dulquer’s character is named Srinivas, while Pooja Hegde’s character is called Sri. Combining the first part of both names reportedly resulted in the title Sri Sri.

The title has already received a positive response for its simplicity and Telugu flavour. Pooja Hegde returns with a proper feel good entertainer after a long gap, while Dulquer is said to be highly confident about the project. If the content matches the title’s charm, the film could well emerge as another winner.
