Hero Varun Tej is coming up with the unique entertainer Korean Kanakaraju, directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. The makers have already generated impressive buzz with its promotional material. Today, Rebel Star Prabhas has released the film’s teaser.
Kanakaraju is a happy-go-lucky youngster from Penukonda in Rayalaseema. His simple life takes an unexpected turn after he falls in love with a Korean girl. Soon, the arrival of a mysterious vessel from Korea unleashes supernatural forces that possess him, turning him into Korean Kanakaraju.
Varun Tej appears completely at ease in the role, effortlessly speaking the Rayalaseema dialect and bringing plenty of energy to the character. His mass makeover perfectly suits the rustic setting, while his stylish avatar after the possession adds an exciting touch. His impeccable comic timing, especially alongside Satya, promises abundant laughs throughout the film. Ritika Nayak makes a pleasing impression as the Korean girl.
Merlapaka Gandhi packs the teaser with entertainment by seamlessly blending romance, comedy, fantasy, horror, and action without losing its narrative flow. Manojh Reddy Katasani’s cinematography captures every mood effectively, while S. Thaman injects tremendous energy through his vibrant background score. Backed by the grand production values of UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment, every frame carries a polished look.
With its fresh premise blending laughter, action, and horror madness, the teaser sets the bar high for the film’s theatrical release on August 7.
